MindScreen — Privacy Policy

MindScreen is anonymous. You do not create an account, and the app never asks for your name. A screening sends only your answers, a broad age group, and sex.

A screening you start yourself is not linked to you at all. If your clinician gave you a code, the clinic can match that screening to your record — that is how your clinician finds your result.

Your answers travel over an encrypted connection. A screening you have not finished can be discarded at any time with "Start Over". When you finish, your answers stay on the app’s server only until your clinician imports them using the code shown at the end of your screening — at that point they are deleted from it.

Because a finished screening contains no information that identifies you, it cannot be found and removed on request: the code is what links it to you, and only you hold it. Once your clinician imports it, the result becomes part of your clinical record at the clinic and is kept under the rules that apply to medical records.
