GSMRC (Guga Sikharulidze Mental Health Research Center) is a multidisciplinary psychiatric clinic in Tbilisi, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental health disorders.

The center was founded by psychiatrist Guga Sikharulidze, a specialist with over 20 years of clinical experience and a doctoral candidate at Leiden University (Netherlands).

Our services

Comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and medication treatment planning by an experienced psychiatrist. Our psychiatrists use modern, evidence-based methods.

Psychotherapy

Individual and group psychotherapy using various approaches — Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, art therapy, and family therapy. Sessions are offered both in person and online.

Psychodiagnostics

Comprehensive psychological assessment using standardized tests — personality evaluation, cognitive function testing, and neuropsychological diagnostics.

Day clinic

An intensive treatment program without hospitalization. The patient spends the day at the clinic, receives treatment, and returns home in the evening. It is effective for conditions of moderate severity.

Your first visit – what should you expect?

The first consultation usually lasts 50–60 minutes and includes:

A detailed clinical history, including symptoms, duration, and family history

Assessment of mental status

Formulating a preliminary diagnosis

Agreeing the treatment plan with the patient

If needed, referral for additional diagnostic evaluations
