Marika Ungiadze is a highly qualified psychologist, a Master of Social Psychology, and an active participant in the international training program in body-oriented psychotherapy (Biosynthesis). Since 2022 she has maintained a continuous, active therapeutic practice in both individual and group counselling. Alongside her clinical work, Marika is engaged in educational and training activities — initially as an assistant trainer on specialized training programs, and since 2023 independently leading her own professional and training-of-trainers (TOT) programs.
Audience and main areas of work
Marika works with adolescents (12+) and adults. Her professional competence covers the following areas:
Addictions and codependency: management of chemical, eating and behavioural addictions, as well as work with codependent individuals;
Crisis experiences: trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD);
Affective difficulties: depression, anxiety and emotional-regulation difficulties;
Personal transformation: building self-esteem, social adaptation, improving communication and supporting personal development.
